DepEd Muntinlupa Recognizes MDF for Its Support to School Development
The Department of Education (DepEd) Schools Division Office of Muntinlupa City recognized Muntinlupa Development Foundation (MDF) for its continued support to school development during its 2nd Local Stakeholders Convergence at Museo de Muntinlupa last January 29.
MDF, through the Bato Balani Foundation Inc (BBFI) granted Muntinlupa National High School - Tunasan Annex the Bato Balani E-Learning Systems Training (BBEST) program in 2017. The grant was extended for the School Year 2019-2020.
Part of the BBEST package is a server and access to Genyo, an e-learning platform by Diwa Learning Systems that provides rich and engaging multimedia content for the students. The grant includes use of equipment such as the YoPads, television, and other equipment used for the school’s senior high school digital laboratory. Teachers were also trained to equip them in using the system. Teachers can also customize their lessons and create assessment modules to address individualized learning.
Furthermore, for seven years now, MDF is a Partner Institution of FIF Foundation, in implementing FIF Scholarship Program. This scholarship program is a K-12 Senior High School (SHS) and Tertiary School educational program for students in Public Schools, State Universities/Colleges which aim is to bridge the gap between education and employment by providing scholarship grants/programs and employment to underprivileged students.
MDF continues to advocate in education of the Muntinlupa youth through the above programs.
