MDF Participates in the 29th Partnership of Philippine Support Service Agencies, Inc., (PHILSSA) General Assembly
Muntinlupa Development Foundation (MDF) attended the 29th Partnership of Philippine Support Service Agencies, Inc., (PHILSSA) General Assembly last June 20-21 at Walter Hogan Hall (ISO), Ateneo de Manila University, Quezon City.
The general assembly was opened with a talk on Engagement Opportunities for Government Partnerships. This was followed by another learning session on Financial Sustainability which was facilitated by Mr. Vince Rapisura of Venture for Fundraising.
On Day 2, Profiling and Monitoring Tools for Poverty Alleviation was discussed by Zero Extreme Poverty (ZEP), a movement that has a radical aim towards the reduction of extreme poverty from the lives of millions of Filipinos by the year 2030. The member organizations of PHILSSA were also encouraged to join this movement.
Further, the Business Meeting was conducted in the afternoon. The Chairperson’s report was given by Ms. Maricel Genzola, she is also the Executive Director of Foundation for the Development of Urban Poor (FDUP).
For four years now, MDF was recognized by PHILSSA as one of the Outstanding Members.
The general assembly was actively participated by its Non-Government Organization members categorized into four clusters namely, National Capital Region, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
